Graduation Day - Class of 2013

“This day is packed with enormous emotion,” at Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Mr. Roystan D’costa (G.S 2012-13) told the nearly 300 members of the class of 2013 during the DBIT’s 9th batch graduation Day on May 25, 2013.

The formal function begin with a March Past by the Graduating Students. Miss Elma Pinto delivered the opening note.

In addition to the graduates, the full house inside the Saintino Mondino hall included faculty, staff, mentors, and honored guests, who came to celebrate the accomplishments of these scholars on such a momentous occasion.

The program started with a prayer service; by the students, Pratibha Dumane, HOD Extc, and special prayer by the Director Rev Fr. Adolph Furtado, Sdb thanking God for his belssings's.

Fr Adolph thanked all the priests at the institution for providing lovely facilties on the campus for the holistic development of the graduates.

He appreciated the leadership of the Dr. N.G.joag, Principal and the staff members for their relentless efforts in shaping the careers of graduates.

Principal Dr. N.G Joag, in his welcome note, congratulated the batch of 2013 as the one of the best and enthusiastic batch of DBIT.

Fr Adolph Furtado Sdb, appreciated the initiatives that the graduates took during their stay at DBIT, he also conveyed a special thanks to the parents of the graduates.

The Presence of Fr Bosco Sdb, was a blessed moment, graduates gave him a standing ovation.

Mr Satish Chavan Hod (I.T), and Dr Prassana, Hod (Mech), felicitated the best outgoing Students and the Academic Rankers.

Mr Royal Dsouza gave the best NSS Volunteer award and the Cultural Coordinator award.

The ceremony closed with the Exit interviews, jam session, followed by snacks and gift distribution. Following the ceremony, graduates and their teachers gathered outside the Saintino Mondino Hall on what was a picture-perfect day.
